Forex 10 Pips – A Very Simple Strategy For Gaining 10 Pips a Day Trading Forex

This article will explain how even a relatively new and inexperienced trader can easily gain 10 or more pips a day on average — by observing and taking advantage of a common market behavioral pattern during the daily New York Close, or from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. Eastern time (New York time).

Once a trader has observed the forex market for a length of time, he or she will recognize that the market does have certain habits and does frequently repeat daily patterns of activity. Learning these patterns and recognizing these habits does not require any special knowledge, training or education. All it takes is careful observation and looking for patterns as to how the market tends to behave during certain times of the trading day. As a new trader, if you spend enough time observing the market movements with respect to time of day, you will begin to see some regular predictable patterns.

One of the market’s predictable habits occurs in the New York afternoon, after 2 pm EST and into the final New York daily closing. Most notably, this pattern is most frequently observed in the EUR/USD. During this time of the trading day, trading flows are usually light and volatility is low. One pattern that has been very consistent over time, for whatever reason, is that there tends to be a pivot that becomes apparent sometime just after 2 pm EST. By “pivot,” I am referring to a “pullback” or “retracement” from the overall day’s predominant trend.

In other words, if the trend of the day for the EUR/USD has been rising, then between 2 pm and 3:30 pm EST, the market will typically see a pullback lower, usually around 20 to 30 pips. On the other hand, if the daily trend for the EUR/USD has been downward, then after 2 pm a retracement of 20-30 pips higher is often observed.

By checking the market or checking the charts in the New York afternoon around 2 pm Eastern time, a new and even an inexperienced trader may recognize this pattern and then safely execute a high probability trade. If a person is available to trade at this time of day on a consistent basis, they could expect to gain an average of 10 pips a day with a fair amount of ease.

In closing, I must state the obvious disclaimer – that trading forex is a risky endeavor with no guarantees. Trade with caution and never trade more than you can afford to lose. Spend time observing the market to recognize its patterns so you may make smart, high probability trades and minimize risks.

Karamojong Long Penis – Tribal Penis Stretching (NOT TRUE!)

A couple of days ago, a young man (said he was 17 years old) sent me an email asking me to help him with a “penis size problem”. He was excited (his words) when he read that I was born and raised among the Karamojong.

He said the size of his penis has affected his whole life to the point that he was depressed and even contemplating suicide. He sought help on the internet and found some sites dedicated to penis enlargement and even sell some equipment that adds inches to one’s penis. He didn’t have the money to buy one of those equipments but decided to try one of the techniques promoted in many penis enlargement websites.

For months now, he has been tying weights to the tip of his penis. First he started with light weights and now was at about 20 pounds. Much of his spare time has been consumed by this “exercise” but he was getting more frustrated because there was no visible increase to the size of his penis. Could I explain, he wrote, exactly how the Karamojong do the “penis stretching thing”?

I was ticked off. The last thing I need is some “horny teenager” disrespecting and insulting me and the work I do. I started to write him an email but then midway I stopped. What if he is just a confused young man feeling so insecure about his penis size and was reaching out to me for help? What if I was the last person he’d ever communicate with, after all he did say he was depressed and suicidal.

I deleted that email and instead wrote asking him to send me texts of what he was referring to, particularly where it mentions “Karamojong penis size”. My assumption was that these must be porn sites — and I don’t go there. Never have, never will.

These are some of the texts he sent me:

“The African Karamojong tribe from North Eastern Uganda have been known to employ similar penis stretching techniques. From early youth they hang ever increasing numbers of circular stone disks from the end of their penises, and over the course of a number of years they can achieve penis lengths comparable to the Indian Sadhus. In order to better manage their rather monumental and impractical appendages, the Karamojong then tie their penises in knots.”

“Beginning at puberty, men of the Karamojong tribe of northeastern Uganda begin the long, arduous process of ritualistic penis stretching. A boy will hang a circular stone disk from the tip of his penis, adding more disks as he becomes accustomed to the weight (and the pain!). By the time the boy has reached his teenage years, he may carry up to 20 pounds on his penis, which by this time can measure 18 inches or more in length. To avoid sitting on the elongated appendage, the men will often tie their penises into knots and tuck them away.

Under normal circumstances this would have cracked me up prime time. There is a lot of crap out there in the name of “African ancient rituals” and since there is no one to burst these myths, many unsuspecting people take them as fact. More over 90% of Africans are too poor to afford a computer/internet and many of those who have computers/internet access mostly find these kind of “African myths” amusing, even entertaining. I get these “humour” email forwards all the time.

Do Karamojong men have the longest penis? I don’t know. But what I do know (and have seen with my eyes) is that Karamojong men generally have penises that go almost mid-thigh and when they sit on the hand-stool they carry around with them, their penises touch the ground/earth (often drawing lines on the soil in response to movements in communication body language). Keep in mind that the average height of Karamojong men is about 5’11 -6’1, depending on which part of Karamoja region a man comes from.

Karamojong men don’t wear any clothes except for a large piece of cloth (ananga) that they wrap around the shoulders. Those who can afford it wear sleeveless tank-top like T-shirts. Karamojong men/boys also braid their hair or wear head-dresses (men and initiated warriors only). They pierce their ears, wear jewelry (specifically copper and iron), and have scar tattoos (that show the number of lions one has killed with a spear or how many enemies they’ve killed in battle/cattle raids). They also carry a small hand-stool, and a walking stick, spear or AK 47 assault rifle, and a toothstick that they use to brush their teeth and they do this all the time (the way some people chew gum non-stop). That’s it. No pants. No boxers or underwear. Nothing waist downwards — except for cow-skin strap sandals. This is how it’s been for thousands of years and this is how it still is for about 80% of Karamojong men. NAKED BUT NOT ASHAMED.

This is what I grew up looking at — everything out there in-your-face full view. Nothing tied in knots and tucked away. This was what was normal to me and I didn’t see it as “sexual” at all. It was just another part of the human body. Ironically, I instinctively find myself looking away or closing my eyes every time it appears like someone is about to take off his or her clothes in public. I find it grossly indecent for anyone to be nude in public. But when I return to Karamoja, for some reason (I can’t completely understand it myself), I don’t find a naked body in public indecent. Unless someone else points it out to me, I don’t even seem to notice it. “Naked but not ashamed” is another topic for another article.

I’ve taken a good number of British, Canadian, Belgian and French men and women to Karamoja (mostly international development work related) and almost everyone of them has made reference to the Karamojong’s penis size. Even Ugandans of other “tribes” talk about the size of the Karamojong penis, so I guess there must be something unique about them.

I am however, very sure Karamojong men are not even aware that they have “weapons of mass destruction”. I’d probably have a mouth-cleansing ritual performed on me if I even said anything about “penis size”. They just don’t care about those kinds of things. Like their brothers, the Masai of Kenya/Tanzania, Turkana of Kenya, Suruma of Ethiopia etc., Karamojong men are proud warriors who strictly live by social and moral codes determined by the tribe/clan — these social and moral codes don’t include obsessing about penis size.

I grew up with these boys and some of them are my closest friends, I never saw anyone hang anything on his penis. Never! IT’S NOT TRUE that Karamojong boys hang circular stone disks on the tips of their penises. ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE.

If the Karamojong penis size is long enough to capture the attention of those selling penis enlargement equipment and techniques, it has to do with their genes and not hanging circular stone disks on the tips of their penises. If you don’t believe me, take a trip to Karamoja and see if you see any boys with stones or discs hanging on the tips of their penises. I am even happy to accompany you, provided you pay for my airfare.

Here is my plea. If there is any young man out there tying weights to his penis because Karamojong boys do it to achieve monumental and elongated penises, PLEASE STOP IT!

Instead consult with a sex therapist who can help you deal with the issues of penis size. I am not a sex therapist — I CAN’T HELP YOU. I can tell you though, many women don’t give a hoot about the size of your penis. Just give them some good loving sex — that’s all. But I tried telling that to the young man who emailed me and he didn’t believe me when I told him “penis size” is men’s “problem”, not women’s. He still wanted a longer and larger penis. I told him what I just said here, talk to a sex therapist. PLEASE!

It’s not even funny!

What You Need To Know About The Forex Robot

A Forex robot is a computer program that undertakes Forex trading on your behalf. The program works relying on a set of trading signals that help it to define whether to sell or purchase a given currency at a given time. If you are looking to automate your Forex trading, you should go for the robots. You can easily buy them on the internet.

Benefits of Forex robots

There are many advantages that come with automating your Forex trading using the Forex robots. Some of these advantages include:

It’s passive: When you are trading the manual way, you have to dedicate time to study the market, keep yourself updated with the industry news, and regularly inspect the trading charts. This isn’t the case when you are using robots. When using the machines all you need to do is give them instructions when you want them to buy and sell, and you can go on with other activities. This saves you time as you make passive money-you don’t invest your time and resources into it.

More practical: Highly experienced designers design most of the programs. Due to this, the programs can analyze the trading charts even better than you can. As a result, they can identify a trading opportunity or even a trend that you wouldn’t have. During the development, the robots are integrated with parameters that allow them to make the right buying decisions. They first study the trends, and once they have identified an opportunity, they go ahead and open a trade.

Fast: The programs have the ability to scan millions of trading charts within seconds and reach a decision. This allows you to make money even if the opportunity lasts for only a short time.

Guide to working with trading robots

Before you buy a robot, there are some things you should know. You should be aware that the effectiveness of the robots is dependent on how good the creator is. If the creator is crappy, so will be the robot. For peace of mind, take your time before buying the program. Research both online and offline of the best programs to use.

Another thing to consider is the customer support service provided by the seller. Just like any other computer program, the robot is bound to develop problems at a particular time. To avoid jeopardizing your trading, you should research and find out the quality of the customer support provided by the provider. You should call, text, and even email the seller and see how fast he/she responds. For peace of mind, only work with a provider with the best service.

You should avoid a provider who responds in hours or even days. A good provider should reply within minutes.

Conclusion

This is what you need to know about Forex trading robots. While the machines do your work easy, just like humans, they make mistakes; therefore, you should expect to make profits at certain times, and loses on other occasions.

Don’t Get Burned by Cryptocurrencies

Over the last few years I’ve come to know a lot about the various types of investors out there.

Most investors are steady, careful people who seek out the best possible advice before they act. They spend a lot of time trying to understand the investment environment, and have a good sense of the risks associated with any given trade.

Then there are the gamblers. Most of them are also pretty clear about the risks associated with their decisions. Like any good gambler, they take risks – calculated risks.

Then there are the desperate. They are driven by a sense of panic… by the need to make a big score, perhaps to make up for years of financial neglect.

A high proportion of those desperate folks are attracted to cryptocurrencies. The last few days have been tough for them…

The Mighty Fall, Then Rise Again

Many people I know who aren’t involved in the cryptocurrency world were quite surprised two weeks ago when it was reported that ether, an e-currency launched in 2014, had a total market value almost as big as bitcoin.

I admit to being surprised myself even though I pay attention to cryptocurrencies as part of my job.

The reason for that is straightforward: The tendency is to watch the value of an individual unit of a currency. In that respect, bitcoin is way more valuable than ether. One bitcoin is about $2,136 right now. One ether is $175. Bitcoin’s higher price makes it seem like the big kid on the block – which it is, of course, being the granddaddy of all e-currencies.

But there are a lot more ether out there than bitcoin, so despite the former’s lower price, its share of the total cryptocurrency market is nearly 30%.

That’s a pretty big jump: Ether’s share of the cryptocurrency universe was just 5% at the beginning of the year. It reached 30% in June, then crashed over this past weekend: It tumbled about 25% to a low of $140 an ether, down 65% from its record high of $395 set on June 13. It has rebounded somewhat since then.

Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble

Ether has done well largely because it is part of a larger initiative called Ethereum, which seeks to develop new uses for the blockchain technology that underlies all cryptocurrencies.

But it has also benefited from a general rush to cryptocurrencies in the last three years, in the form of initial coin offerings (ICOs).

An ICO is a way to crowdfund the release of a new cryptocurrency. When a cryptocurrency startup firm wants to raise money through an ICO, it sells “tokens” for dollars or bitcoin that can be exchanged for the new currency at some date in the future. Generally, tokens for the new cryptocurrency are sold to raise money for technical development before the cryptocurrency itself is released.

These tokens are similar to shares of a company sold to investors in an initial public offering (IPO) transaction. Unlike an IPO, however, acquisition of the tokens does not grant ownership in the company developing the new cryptocurrency. All you get is a promise of coins to come.

And unlike an IPO, there is little or no government regulation of an ICO.

Early ICO investors are usually motivated to buy the new cryptocurrency in the hope that it will increase in value when released. Ethereum is an example of a successful ICO project that was profitable to early investors. In 2014, the Ethereum ICO raised $18 million in bitcoin, or $0.40 per ether. The project went live in 2015, and in 2016 ether rose as high as $14, with a market capitalization of over $1 billion.

Now ether is at $175. You can imagine how people feel when they realize that had they bought ether at the ICO, every $0.40 they’d invested would now be worth that much.

On the other hand, those who bought ether at $395 a few weeks ago are less impressed.

A Cryptocurrency Wild West

So far this year, there have been around 20 ICOs a month.

You read that right: 20 brand-new cryptocurrencies proposed every single month.

Frankly, that’s crazy. There’s no way all those currencies are going to succeed. But apparently there are plenty of people out there who are either willing or desperate enough to believe that they will, and who hand over money or bitcoin to get a piece of the action.

Those people are the fuel beneath the current ICO fire.

When fuel burns, it disappears. Remember that if you’re ever tempted to gamble on a cryptocurrency ICO.

10 Things I Discovered About the Mayan Alux in Mexico’s Riviera Maya

I just got back from spending a month on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. It was a great trip and I found myself delving into some interesting things while I was there.

A race of tiny people called Aluxob (the singular is Alux) live in the jungles and cenotes of the Yucatan. You assume I am speaking of ancient folklore? I am not so sure…

I had some personal experiences with one about 4 years ago in my home in Puerto Aventuras (a town on the beach in the Riviera Maya) and I wanted to dig into the experience a little deeper. So I interviewed local Maya to see what they had to say.

Let me tell you my experience first:

I was living in a nice condo on the ocean and my daughter, Sarah, and her Mexican boyfriend, Javier, were staying with me. Some weird things were happening in the house.

  • In the middle of the night, I repeatedly heard someone yell my name right in my ear and it woke me up and practically sent me through the roof. Sarah and Javier experienced the same thing.
  • The blender and other small appliances turned on in the middle of the night.
  • While walking down the hall, I would feel a slap on my leg just above the ankle.

All this was odd, but not too troubling (Except flying out of bed to shut off the blender in the middle of the night. I hate that adrenaline rush.) The kids were experiencing everything I was and several times Javier said, “You have an alux.”

Of course I didn’t take him seriously.

Until the foot prints appeared in the hall.

This hall went to my daughter’s room. My bedroom was on the other side of the house. When I got up early one morning and walked past it, I saw water on the floor all the way down to my daughter’s bedroom. I figured Sarah had taken a shower and dripped all the way down the hall. The floors can be very slippery, so I started to go remind her to not drip water everywhere, but as soon as I stepped into the hall I saw that it wasn’t just dripping water, it was tiny wet foot prints.

“I told you, you have an alux,” said Javier.

OK. I believed.

Later I went to a close friend of mine, Crescent. She is from Canada and also lived in the Riviera Maya in Mexico with her Mayan husband. They own a dive shop. I asked Crescent if she knew anything about an alux. She said she didn’t but she would ask her husband, William.

“Oh yes,” (Imagine hearing this in a drawn-out fashion) said William.

And then he proceeded to tell about how the fishermen see the tiny wet footprints on their boats early in the mornings. Mind you, I had mentioned nothing about the wet foot prints in my hall.

OK. So now I am sure an alux is a real creature, not just a myth. But what exactly IS an alux?

Enter this most recent trip and many interviews.

I found when at first I asked locals if they knew about the alux, they were reluctant to say anything. But after I shared my story, they became animated and very open. Some shared stories of their own and some thanked me for sharing mine. Apparently, even the sharing of stories is considered a noble thing and I was delighted to be a part of that. Also, I want to note that I had these conversations in Spanish. Most of these people speak Maya. They all function daily in Spanish, and most of them speak limited English. Speaking in Spanish, I believe, was comforting to them and encouraged them to share more freely.

Things I discovered:

1. Alux live all over the peninsula, but mostly in the jungle. Not as many live in the tourist areas of Quintana Roo by the beach (commonly known as the Riviera Maya). The farms and old villages in the interior state of Yucatan are rife with them. They are considered the guardians of the jungle.

2. They are small people, about 18 inches high. I have read on-line about their ability to turn into animals, but no locals confirmed this. They did, however, say that they hide in the rocks and cenotes and some said they can shape-shift and actually make themselves appear as rocks.

3. Most of the time they are invisible to us, but sometimes they are caught in their natural form.

4. When asked if they are spirit or corporeal, people responded that they are neither. They are AIR. This is very interesting and I am currently trying to learn more about this. People also said they are NATURE or NATURAL. Does this mean they are elemental beings (fire, air, earth, water)? I also heard a story of a human form created from water (called a Kanan Sayab which literally means guardian of the jungle but is also considered the guardian of the springs) walking through the ruins at Coba. Wow… so much to track down!

5. They love to play. Sometimes the Maya people find tiny toys left lying around the house. If they are not happy they throw small stones or sometimes hit you.

6. If they are happy they will guard your home or farm (milpa). They can be very good and helpful if honored correctly.

7. Farmers build houses for them to keep them in their fields. The alux will guard all four corners of the filed and if someone comes to steal anything, they will surround the robber so he cannot escape.

8. In Costa Rica they are called duende.

9. VERY COOL STORY. The city of Cancun was building a new bridge just outside the airport and it kept collapsing. The local Mayans went to the city and told them they had an alux. So the city hired a Mayan shaman to contact the alux and find out what to do. The alux said it wanted a house, so the city built a beautiful alux house in the shape of a pyramid under the bridge. Then they were able to complete the work on the bridge. It still stands today with no problems and the pyramid-house is there all lit up at night and beautiful for everyone to see as they head out from the airport and into the beach strip on vacation.

10. If you have an alux in your house and you want it to leave, you (or preferably a Mayan shaman, called a J-Man) can do a ceremony with herbs and plants (I hope to learn more about this) including burning incense made from the resin of the copal tree.

I have more questions about the alux. I have read they dress like the ancient Maya. Some of the people I interviewed have seen them or have stories of family members who have seen them. I forgot to ask what they were wearing, but I will go back and see if I can track that down. I also want to know more about their nature. What does it mean that they are AIR?

In my interviewing, I also heard a story of different beings called gnomes (pronounced in the Spanish way nome-es) They were described as being bigger than an alux, having horns, having an unpleasant nature, carrying knives, causing children to hurt each other and argue, wearing black sombreros, and needing to be evicted by means of a ceremony done including a Bible. I wonder, are they also air or are they earth?

We have so much to learn.

Cheers

Laura

When is the Best Time to Buy RVs and the Worst Time to Buy an RV?

The best time to buy an RV from a dealer and an owner is during the off season. Private owners know that they are going to have to winterize it and store it. Rather than the hassle of winterizing and dewinterizing it, and having to pay to store the RV or trailer in the off-season, they may just try to sell it quickly for whatever they can get for it.

Dealers know that they will do a lot better if they can increase their cashflow in their off season and unload some of their excess inventory. Reducing his inventory allows him to trim his interest expense for the next 5 to 6 months.

The absolute best time to buy an RV from a dealer is about two weeks after it gets cold and their buyer traffic has greatly slowed down. On the 1st day of snow, you could go into a large dealership and be the only one their. Another get time to buy from a dealer may be at an RV show or during a dealer lot promotion. RV sales people are geared to sell as much as they can and you may just walk away with a steal.

The worst time to buy a new or a used RV is right before you are ready to leave on an RV trip. You are more anxious to buy then they are to sell. If you tell them that you are planning on going to Disneyland next week and you need it for the trip, they may decide the you are an over anxious buyer and try to get as much as they can for the sale. It’s usually better not to say anything so as to not sound anxious.

Vacation Rentals – What Option Is Right For Your Vacation?

Vacation rentals & in general the idea of renting a proper lodging for your vacation is a somewhat new way of looking that the time off you’re taking from the real world. At some point, it seems, someone wondered why it was that we tend to settle for lodging that is mass-produced & somewhat sterile when we could make our “home away from home” actually feel like a “home away from home”.

It makes sense when you stop and think about it. We look forward to our vacation all year because we know how much work we put into our jobs. Day in and day out, we work ourselves to the bone to earn whatever amount of time we can take off, and somehow, we decided that such lucrative recharge time needed to be spent on very “non-mojo” surroundings. Finally, someone decided to offer more luxurious offerings that had more domestic amenities. Still, others decided that maybe their own home might be used for a very domestic lodging. Other options began to spring up, and before you knew it, the vacation rental property revolutionized the travel industry in a major way.

But what type of vacation rental option is right for you? After all, with so many options, how exactly do you find what works best for you and (presumably) your family? Well, to be perfectly frank, it’s not hard at all. Really. You’d be surprised how easy it is to find the right rental for your needs.

First, sit down with your family & find out what you all want in a vacation rental. After all, if it is to fill the needs of your family, everyone’s input should be taken into account. Talk about the difference between wants & needs, and use it as a great teaching tool to get your kids to think critically about compromise. You know you can’t get everything you want, but it’s nice to see what page everyone is on as you go on this cool journey.

Next, figure out where you’re going to go for vacation. Perhaps these first two items can be switched, but in the end, you’re still on the right track. You can’t possibly know what you truly want in a rental unless you know where you’ll be & what you’ll possibly be doing.

You also have to consider the amount of time you have off in the first place. If you’ve got a posh gig where you can take up to a month off from work for a vacation, you’ve got a lot of options. However, for the majority of people who have from a few days to about two weeks, planning is where it’s at, and you need to plan carefully. Say you’ve done all the right things & taken the right steps, and you’ve found the right vacation rental for you. How long will it take to travel to this place? How will you get around from your rental to other areas nearby? How much travel to should you factor in by foot? Car? Taxi? Flying? It’s always the little things that sneak up on you.

Don’t let the many options of vacation rentals get you down; let them work for you.
